Chuck Brown – ‘Nothing Left’ (Video) + ’80′s Baby’ EP (Stream)
‘Nothing Left’ encapsulates the coming of age of a child who would eventually grow into the MC, Chuck Brown.
Born in the 80′s and raised in the 90′s, as the hook repeats, isn’t just a statement of age or experience, but more an attitude of non-conformity and anti-establishment. The Screwaholic laced track serves as the lead single and video off the Cali rhyme slayer Chuck Brown‘s new project ’80′s Baby’ out now on all digital platforms! About the EP:
After starting off the year with the gritty collaborative effort, Purple Poison – The Drop, with fellow Orange county MC, PhrumLsWhere, Chuck Brown closes out 2020 by delivering his solo EP, ’80′s Baby’. As a child born in the early 1980′s and coming of age in the 1990′s, Chuck utilizes all his experience to present the rebellious, often angry and nihilistic mindset of his generation. From the Reagan era, to the influence of revolutionary Hip-Hop with a focus on non-conformity and sharp lyricism, ’80′s Baby’ is a window into the heart and mind of a person who took it all in, at a time when things were still authentic.
