D.Ramirez – Tease Machine EP // Out today on Great Stuff Recordings

D.Ramirez – ‘Tease Machine’ EP Great Stuff
Release Date: Monday 5th Nov 2012 (Beatport)

D. Ramirez a.k.a Dean Marriot is one of the UK’s most brilliant house legends and is regarded as one of the very first pioneers of the now world famous electro house phenomenon. It was his early ventures into electro, breaks, tech-house and techno styles that have paved the way for generations of beatmakers to follow. He has spent more than 15 years making hits and playing meticulous DJ sets around the world. Having been long inspired by the freshest sounds of deep house and techno he is focusing all his attention on delivering tracks that fit his new direction. D. Ramirez is an underground soldier, and much-respected name on the scene and always stays true to his motto: soul comes first. This new E.P on Great Stuff includes the tracks:
Tease Machine: A bouncy electro and tech house track that rolls on beautifully, full of energy and with old skool twisted breakdowns. ‘Tease Machine’ incorporates those long prolonged drops that only increase the tension and, as ever, it has the signature brilliant production that D. Ramirez delivers every time.
You Make Me Feel: Here Ramirez delivers a pacey house track with a steady build and pounding back beat, full of warm bass and twisted vocal stabs. Once again it showcases exceptional production and would fit into almost every DJ’s repertoire from techno through to deep house. Look out for his forthcoming EP due to drop in early December on Great Stuff.
‘Restless’ is a new collaboration with Cevin Fisher which is set to follow as the next single on Great Stuff records.

Tease Machine EP:

Subscape – High Grade (F.I.R.E.)

Subscape finishes up his four part ‘Elements’ EP on a harder edge, breathing life into the theme of ‘fire’ with growling synths and a juddering bassline on ‘High Grade’. The track goes hand in hand with a flame-filled video, focusing on a glamorous performer, and it seems there is always someone watching in the shadows… Out now on Dub Police, ‘High Grade’ rounds off a powerful selection of tracks that show his innovation and variety as a producer.
