Punk rockers Hearts Apart releases new single ‘Still Burn’ (self released)
Salad Days

Hearts Apart formed on 2020. The idea came from a trio of friends, when attending a festival on the shores of Garda Lake, in Italy.

Their intent was to create a band that could channel all the teenage distress of being close to forty, through punk rock and rock and roll. While Hearts Apart is a very young project, its members are very well known veterans from the italian punk scene, coming from bands such as Miss Chain & The Broken Heels, Argetti, Il Buio and Phill Reynolds. Hearts Apart received massive support from the likes of KEXP, Punknews.org, Studio Brussel, Amazing Radio, WFMU, Louderthanwar, Pinguin Radio and many more. ‘Still Burn’, their new single, will be included on their brand new EP ‘Bang! Wrong Again’ due at the end of April. The song is a straight forward punk rock gem, with a sonic palette that nuances from Against Me! to The Marked Men and Jay Reatard as ideal mentors. Here’s a band quote about ‘Still Burn’: “Rock’n'roll can and must talk about brotherhood, friendship, depression and redemption through the dreams you fight for with the ones you love. Yes, Rock’n'Roll can and must talk about emotions, feelings and relationships apparently dead but still flaming as lonesome torches. United – and fragile – we stand.”
