“We are completely stoked about having physical cd copies and the first ever vinyl pressings as a band!” exclaims Tiny Moving Parts guitarist/vocalist Dylan Mattheisen.

He referring to his band’s debut full-length, ‘This Couch Is Long and Full of Friendship’, which came out digitally in January of 2013 (links to purchase & stream below) but is finally seeing physical release on vinyl via Kind of Like Records and on CD via Black Numbers on July 9, 2013. The album, which is currently available via iTunes, Spotify and Amazon, won early accolades from sites such as AbsolutePunk.net who said “Tiny Moving Parts are the best new band you’ll have the luck of [stumbling] across. Watch out for these guys in the future,” and PropertyofZack.com who praised “armed with twinkly guitar and weaving yarms of heartbreak and growing up, Tiny Moving Parts does it better… [they] have guts by the armful.” The band has also released a video for the lead single ‘Clouds Above My Head’ which can be seen on YouTube:

“It’s super gnarly having two labels helping us out! After realizing how rad and how supportive Kind of Like Records and Blank Numbers truly are, we knew this would be the way to go,” explains Dylan of the band’s excitement surrounding the release. The Minnesota-based three-piece, which is rounded out by brothers Matthew Chevalier (bass/vocals) and Billy Chevalier (drums) – who are also Dylan‘s cousins – plans to tour the East in July this summer which includes stops at Bramble Jam 3 and I Got Brains! Fest.
