VIVA BROTHER GET ON THE MAGIC BUS

VIVA BROTHER GET ON THE MAGIC BUS

A historic evening in store at London’s Vibe Bar on Friday September 30th as This Feeling welcomes Viva Brother back to the scene of their triumphant NYE gig for an exclusive London Koko After-Show Party. The lads will be arriving in their very own, specially chartered, red London Routemaster, just in time to play a storming DJ set and find a big TF zone. Find out how to win VIP tickets for their KOKO show and a place on the bus with the band at www.facebook.com/thisfeelinghq
This Feeling also welcomes back indie-rock royalty, Jon Brookes of The Charlatans, on to the hallowed decks, along with Damian Jonze (NME) and the ever-popular Cool Britannia. Live music comes from new-wave/post-punk maestros, The Carpels (signed to Jon Brookes’ new label) who have been working with Jim Spencer (New Order/Doves) and have earned comparisons with the song craft of The Coral. Singer/songwriter Humphrey, who has been working with Mercury Prize-nominee, Ed Harcourt, will undoubtedly charm you with his soulful blend of laidback Rufus Wainwright-style melodies and subtle, heartfelt Nike Drake-esque lyrics. The IC1s, who the NME brand as ‘a proper rock and roll band’ and XFM describe as a ‘little bit Libertines, a little bit Ramones – 100% London’ are surely not be missed. Completing the line-up, Sulk, unashamedly influenced by bands like The Stone Roses, Suede, Pulp and The Verve, will be on the charm offensive, bringing waves of beauty, honesty and anthemic bliss for a whole new generation.
