An international skateboarding event, which takes place from the 23rd to the 25th of June in the skatepark of La Kantera, in the town of Getxo.

It pretends to be a skateboarding festival which main attraction is an international pool contest. Euskaltel LA KANTERA PRO, will receive the best pro, women and masters in the world. They will have a 50.000 euros prize money. Around this pool contest, it will be an animated fan zone, music concerts, a free camping site, and much more. Check our agenda for more details. GETXO SKATE WEEK
Once again, Getxo will held the Getxo Skate Week, from the 17th of June to the 25th. Different events and locations will attracts skaters all over the world. All of them free and open to general public.

VOLCOM PRESENTS EUSKALTEL LA KANTERA PRO / 23-25 JUNE 2017, GETXO, BASQUE COUNTRY

Volcom is thrilled to be back to one of the skateboarding heaven on earth for an event that you don’t want to miss. Right down the beach near Bilbao, the legendary pool of La Kantera will gather once again some of the best skateboarders on the planet. Women, Masters and Pros divisions will split a total prize purse of 50 000€, Pedro Barros, Grant Taylor, CJ Collins, Dani Leon, Ivan Federico and more confirmed already. With epic skate sessions, free camping on the hill, the San Juan fests that celebrate the longest day of the year and a live music festival organized by the city of Getxo, the event is not to be missed!
