Volcom Stone’s VQS Seaslug Surf Series – Manhattan Beach, California

With zero swell forcasted and extreme tides swings upon us, a postponing looked to be in order for the Seaslug Surf Series. However, we kept our fingers crossed and the crack of dawn revealed some fun 2-3ft surf. With 120 kids flocking out of streets of Manhattan, we were off and running for a great day of Totally Crustaceous Tour action. Bummy Keopenick is a classic human being and although he lost out early, he kept the beach easily entertained.

Kelly Zuan took the Juniors along with $250 from MUSCLE MILK while Bobby Okvist claimed Electric Volt Thrower move of the event, $50 and pair of shades.

Thanks to CHIPOTLE for the kick ass lunch, and congrats to Shane Gherardi who won the Chipotle/Volcom New Future award for picking up the most trash off the beach.
