6 ROXY GIRLS HEAD TO ITALY TO COMPETE ON THE  WORLD’S BIGGEST STAGE

Six Roxy Girls will be flying out to Italy next week to represent their five respective nations in the year’s biggest winter sports event.

Chloe Kim, Sara Shimizu, Isa Loetscher, Kim Dumont, Melissa Pepperkamp and Kokone Kondo are slated to take the stage next month, proudly representing women in action sports of what is arguably the most anticipated sports event of the year. 2x Gold Medalist and half-pipe legend Chloe Kim will be representing the USA once again, attending the event for the third time after taking the win in both her previous appearances (2018 & 2022). After paving the way for a generation of young female snowboarders, Chloe is back and stronger than ever, ready to reach for a third title and cement her status as the greatest female half-pipe snowboarder in history. Following in her footsteps, Japan’s Sara Shimizu is on everyone’s radar. The sixteen year-old snowboarder from Ōtsu, Japan, is headed to Italy days after taking her second X Games medal in as many attempts (bronze is 2025, gold in 2026). The young rider became the third woman in history to land a frontside double cork 1080 in a halfpipe, successfully become synonymous with the treacherous trick since. Also representing Japan, skier Kokone Kondo will be riding in the event for the first time, with an injury preventing her from embracing her qualification in Beijing in 2022. Kokone will be taking part in the slopestyle and big air events in Italy. Switzerland’s Isabelle Loetscher will also be headed to the event for the first time, participating in the halfpipe event alongside her brand teammates. The rider will enter the global stage with her acclaimed mix of technicity and unique style. Fellow European rider Kim Dumont will be representing France at the event for the first time in her career. The 20 year-old rider from Montpellier will be competing in the slopestyle and big air events alongside teammate Kokone Kondo. Melissa Pepperkamp from the Netherlands will be taking part in the event for the second time in her career, after competing in slopestyle and big air in 2022 in Beijing. The 21 year-old Dutch freestyle rider is expected to take part in the same two events next month.
