Black Mask’s dark hardcore roars on new single and video ‘Tormented’
New album ‘Vestige Of Mercy’ out 10/16 on Static Era Record. Black Mask are creating soul-crushing hardcore with a grind and metal influence that builds destructive walls of sound.
Originally formed in 2011, the band debuted with 2012’s ‘Black Mask’ EP followed by 2014’s ‘Lost Below’ EP and extensive touring. On October 16th, band will release their first full-length through Static Era Records. The twelve track album was produced and recorded by guitarist Greg Thomas (also of END) at Silver Bullet Studios and mastered by Will Putney at Graphic Nature Audio. Having shared the rage-fueled single ‘Monarch Detraction’ last month, now unleash this fervid new single. The track shows no mercy as fast ripping guitars blend with breakneck drums and sinister vocals. Tension builds leading into a devastating rhythmic pattern that is sure to have your head banging along. The video for the track finds the band performing in a striking church, juxtaposing the agony felt in the song.
Black Mask is Michael Stello – Vocals, Travis McKenrick – Guitar/Vocals, Casey Columbus – Bass, Matt Full – Drums, and Greg Thomas – Guitar.
