Band’s latest EP ‘Haverstraw’ is out now on Manic Kat Records. FFO: Goldfinger, MEST, MXPX.
They are back with a vengeance, dropping their latest music video for the single ‘Crimson’ off their recent EP, ‘Haverstraw.’ Known for their infectious hooks, explosive energy, and emotionally honest lyrics, band continues to prove why they’ve remained a staple in the alt-rock and pop-punk scenes for over two decades. Originally formed in the late ‘90s, Showoff burst onto the scene with their self-titled debut album in 1997, featuring fan favorites like ‘Falling Star’ and ‘Backstab’. Blending punk energy with pop sensibility, the band quickly gained a loyal following and earned a reputation for high-octane live shows and anthemic songwriting. After years of evolution and growth, group now features founding member Chris Envy (vocals), alongside Mickey Molinari (Danger Is My Middle Name, August Premier) on drums, guitarists Brian Steinseifer and Steve Envy, and bassist Evan Thorne. Together, the lineup brings renewed passion and creative fire to a sound that remains as fresh and honest as ever. With past releases including ‘Wish You Were Her’ (2000), ‘Waiting For You’ (2006), and ‘Midwest Side Story’ (2017), Showoff continues to evolve while staying true to their roots. The band’s new music marks an exciting chapter—full of grit, heart, and the same explosive spirit that’s defined them from the start.
