Here we are in the most dire of times. The mass of us, living under the gun of capital, are often too busy to look up at our own demise.

Some of us even choose to walk straight into disaster – each foolish step in hopes of having a seat at the table. And there are some of us who see the gun staring straight at us, who see the world for what it strangely is and what it potentially could be. ‘DEATH IS NOT OUR ONLY OPTION’ is a collection of songs about flipping the table, reversing course in the sights of catastrophe, and turning the gun on the greedy capitalist. You are here on some inclination of fight. These songs are not meant to radicalize the radicals or change the hearts of those who stray.

Let the drudgery of daily life radicalize you.
Let the desperation of the poor radicalize you.
Let the floods and fires radicalize you.
Let the fear of disaster consume you.
And the feeling of community take hold of you.
Settle up with the past and leave the future to the revolutionary.
Death is not our only option.

CLIQUE comment: “Song is about the endless struggle and our collective will. Struggle is never-ending and we radicals know that. The dominant culture tries to reduce us to only leftist university students, distant foreign uprisings, or isolated spurs that are born of our online lives. But the majority of us were born into struggle, and now growing older with our same convictions. All of us have unfortunately come to know the exploitation of the capitalist scam – many on a deeply personal level. And the thing is that WE SEE EACH OTHER HERE WHERE WE ARE, in the workplace and the streets. Many of us organizing together in our neighborhoods. Some of us forced into hiding, now just waiting for a moment. And too many of us locked up for fighting the good fight. Utopia has most likely evaded us in this lifetime, but doesn’t mean we don’t continue to fight.”
