Band’s classic but contemporary vision of shoegaze manifests intriguingly in outlier moments; theirs is a muse as vivid as it is varied. Their second and most supreme suite yet of crushing downer bliss, ‘I’ll Drown On This Earth’, was released last year on Dais Records and it’s a perfect storm of distortion and dreampop, cracked love songs cloaked in swooning walls of noise. Now they embark on a North American tour with High Vis — kicking off in Vancouver, the tour will hit Seattle, PDX, L.A., Denver, Chicago, Boston, Brooklyn and more, ending October 12 in Baltimore.
