“The first time I ever touched the bike was 5 days after Worlds in Champery. And I immediately loved it, the mix of excitement of a new chapter in my life plus being a fresh World Champion made my day. The bike was so stable from the first braking bump. I need way less strength and it gives you a lot of confidence but it’s still very playful for how planted it is. I struggled a lot with arm pump last year as I ride quite a stiff setup, so being back on aluminium will hopefully help me a lot to push 100% again.” – Vali Höll
