To mark the opening race of the Formula 1 season in Melbourne, Haydenshapes collaborated with Audi Australia to create a special R26 edition of our DarkNoiz Carbonyx model.

Welcoming drivers Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto to Australia for the season opener, the board was designed as a tribute to the engineering and performance ethos shared between Formula 1 and modern surfboard design.

Constructed using our advanced Carbonyx technology, the DarkNoiz model is built with high-performance carbon fibres engineered for rapid flex response and a finely tuned feel underfoot. The R26 edition takes visual cues from the Audi R26 Formula 1 car, featuring a matte metallic silver finish, exposed gloss carbon fibre and signature red accents.

As part of the collaboration, a board was donated to the Audi Foundation and displayed at the Audi Trackside Suite across the Melbourne race weekend, where it was auctioned for $55,000 to support the foundation’s charitable programs.
