Hurley Opens Boardshort Specialty Store in Hossegor, France – Boardshort focus to help boost the Hurley Brand in Europe

COSTA MESA, Calif. – June 30, 2011 – Youth lifestyle brand Hurley announced today the reopening of its first store in Hossegor, France, in an effort to grow the Hurley brand profile in Europe and align with the company’s core ideals. Modeled after the original in Bali, The Boardshort Store creates a space for consumers in the heart of the European surf community to interact with one of Hurley’s key items. “We wanted to create an environment in Hossegor where the customer could walk in and fully immerse themselves in our boardshort world – really understand our passion for the product,” said Allen Johnson, Hurley’s Europe General Manager.

The new 38 sqm store, owned by a Hurley partner, is located at 18 Avenue du Golf, 40150 Hossegor, France. It will feature a spectrum of Hurley boardshorts including the 3-time SIMA award-winning Phantoms. Hurley’s franchise One & Only tees will also be available.
