On March 20th, San Diego crossover band Mizery will release their new self-titled EP through Flatspot Records.

Recorded and produced by Taylor Young at The Pit, the EP builds on the band’s groove-driven hardcore with rap-sung vocals and furious guitar riffs. It also marks the last recordings of drummer Cayle Sain, who passed in December 2023, and serves as a defiant stand for Mizery. Out today is the vindicating single ‘Eulogy’, featuring guest vocals and lyric contributions from Drain’s Sammy Ciaramitaro. The song came together as an early demo and was the only track Cayle had laid down programmed drums for instead of studio recordings. To complete the track, drummer David Stalsworth (Militarie Gun, Torena) stepped in on the recording and will join the band for live performances.

Mizery is José Luna – Vocals, Taylor Parker – Lead Guitar, Miguel “Mikey” Salazar – Rhythm Guitar, Ahmad Ali – Bass, Cayle Sain – Drums (posthumous), and David Stalsworth – Drums (touring).

‘Mizery’ EP Tracklist:

1. Renegade Rhythm

2. 99 To 1

3. The Weapon Pt. I

4. The Weapon Pt. II

5. Through A Bullet Hole

6. Eulogy ft. Sammy Ciaramitaro
