Post-hardcore band En Masse share textured, dynamic single and video ‘justthisonce’

Announce ‘newviolenttrends’ EP out June 20th on Fever Ltd. Channeling bands like Glassjaw, Deftones, Poison The Well while mixing in influences from Depeche Mode and The Cure proved the perfect formula.

The goal was always to write music that’s fun and reminiscent of what they’d want to listen to. Mixed and mastered by Adam Cichocki (Gatherers, ASkySoBlack, Casey), the four songs on EP are aggressive, impactful, and infectious. Having previously unveiled the heavy ‘masq’ the band lean into their flair for rhythm and melody on ‘justthisonce’. Layers of guitar and bass build a textured, dynamic atmosphere with vocalist Zack Santiago’s high pitched notes and screams adding an elevated dimension. The momentum building video for the track, directed and edited by Quintin Fernandez. On the song’s lyrics, Santiago shares:

“In life there’s growth through situations and sometimes those situations reappear later through life as a test, ‘justthisonce’ is asking myself and the listener, have you truly learned anything at all?”

En Masse is Zack Santiago (vocals), Jari Javier (guitar) and Peter Parkes (bass)
