SNOW LEAGUE: RYUSEI TAKES THE WIN AT ASPEN SNOWMASS
Less than 2 weeks after taking the bronze medal in Livigno, Italy, Quiksilver’s Ryusei Yamada has once more confirmed his status as one of the generation’s best snowboarders…
… by taking the win at the Snow League’s third stop, in Aspen, Colorado. Known for his effortless style, the 19 year-old rider from Sapporo, Japan, entered finals days as a fan-favourite and top qualifier and went straight to the finals where he came face to face with Yuto Totsuka. Ryusei landed a switch alley-oop double backside rodeo 900 on his first run and topped off the finals by charging into a third run that sent him straight to the win. A first Snow League title for the Quiksilver snowboarder who, in just a few months, has become a fixture on the half-pipe scene. Ryusei now stands second on the leadership board with a total score of 229 points, heading into Stop 4 in LAAX on March 19th.

SARA SHIMIZU TAKES THE WIN
Sara Shimizu keeps soaring to new heights! The 16-year-old ROXY Girl delivered a dominant performance over the weekend in Aspen Snowmass, earning the top three scores of the day and offering an unforgettable performance against Maddie Mastro. In her final run, Sara threw a massive frontside double cork 1080 truck driver nearly 13-feet out, going into a Cab 720 mute, followed by a pair of 900s—a frontside 900 tail grab into a backside 900 mute—and finishing with a frontside 540 Indy. With this win, Sara takes the 6th place on the World Championship Standings. A mere weeks after taking the Gold at the 2026 X Games and making her Olympic debut, she proves once more she embodies the future of women’s snowboarding. She will head to LAAX next for the 4th stop on the Snow League
