A glorious, disorganized, wetsuit-stinking ode to the mid-winter Portuguese escape.

Shot in the wake of the Volcom Surf Happening event in February, ‘GUILLOTINE’ captures a two-week strike mission through the heart of Portugal. From the moody wedges of the Algarve to the slabs of Ericeira, the mission was simple: surf, film, repeat. Starring 3POD MIX’s own Issam Auptel, Diogo Martins and Yael Peña, backed by human tripod Guilherme Martins, eternal smooth operator Gony Zubizarreta, and two of Portugal’s best young talents: Santiago Graça and João Moreira. And of course, Alex Botelho: Greek god, full-blown powerhouse, sexy dad.  ‘GUILLOTINE’ channels the same punk, DIY spirit it’s built on: fast, raw, and a little reckless.
