After judging the best maneuver of the summer from each surfer, you’ll find the list of surfers from all around Europe who qualified for this event and more details here Volcom Surf Happening is a contest open to all European surfers aged 16 and under as of the qualifier deadline (born after August 31, 2008). They qualified via an online competition held during summer 2025, before coming together in Portugal for the main event.

After another great event earlier this year in Sagres, Portugal, Volcom is back with its contest series for the youth: Volcom Surf Happening! The Volcom Surf Happening contest series combines a pan-European digital qualifier (July 1st – August 31st, 2025), and a main event next winter in Portugal (February 2026, exact date and location TBC) with a 5000€ prize purse. It provides a fun platform for young surfers from all over Europe to showcase their skills. This year, the qualifying process is simpler than ever, focusing on top maneuvers filmed during summer sessions across Europe. Top 20 Women and Top 20 Men will qualify to battle it out in Portugal in a fun and original contest format, with tons of prizes and a total of 5000€ prize money.
