SUPRA Joins Fight Against Breast Cancer with Pink Party Skytop

CA—SUPRA has joined Elyse Walker in the fight against breast cancer by creating a limited edition, pink Skytop for women to be released at this year’s annual Pink Party. The limited edition Pink Party Skytop is constructed of pink suede, pink crocodile-embossed leather, padded pink mesh lining and tongue, and it rests upon a pink vulcanized sole with white foxing. SUPRA may be new to the women’s footwear market, but this will be the second year in which the footwear brand has created a shoe in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) and participated in the annual Pink Party that benefits the Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Program at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute. “Pink Party is a celebration of women, fashion, friendship, and life,” said Elyse Walker. “We are celebrating eight years of philanthropy supporting one of the premier medical and research centers in the world. It is without question that this year’s Pink Party will be bigger and better than ever.” This year’s Pink Party will be hosted by Michelle Pfeiffer on October 27, 2012 at Hangar 8 in Santa Monica, CA. It is anticipated to be one of the biggest fashion events to take place in Los Angeles in years. The fashion show will be on a 54-foot catwalk and will feature looks from the following designers: Barbara Bui, Brunello Cucinelli, Chloé, J. Mendel, Kaufman Franco, Kelly Wearstler, Stella McCartney, and Valentino.
