MOB 47 + NUKIES + NARKAN + MASS TURBO @PALESTRA LUPO, CATANIA – RECAP

La leggendaria crust hardcore band svedese dei Mob 47 approda sul palco della Lupo insieme ai conterranei Nukies per una notte all’insegna del d-beat furioso.

Il mix creato dalla crew di Catania Hardcore, però, comprendeva anche i Narkan, giovanissima band milanese dedita a un impressionante chaos punk, e i modicani Mass Turbo, thrashcore furioso e mai domo.

Iniziano proprio i Mass Turbo facendo da opening con una set list che incendia subito la serata creando tra il pubblico un focoso pogo. La band di Modica, nuova di un ep da poco uscito, in circa mezz’ora a loro disposizione spazzano ogni dubbio (se mai ce ne fosse stato) su come si suona e si interpreta un certo genere musicale.

Non conoscevo invece i Narkan, che da Milano hanno scosso per bene i presenti con una miscela di old school di h.c. italico ri-arrangiato ai nostri tempi (con i Wretched sempre dietro l’angolo…) e testi molto attuali con tematiche socio-culturali molto interessanti.

A sorpresa, invece di suonare per ultimi, i Mob 47 salgono sul palco lasciando ai Nukies l’onore di suonare come headliner a fine serata. I Mob 47 sono una band pazzesca, tutta d’un pezzo che lascia a bocca aperta per genuina intuizione e furiosa esecuzione. Mai visto un d-beat suonato così veloce e senza sbavature. Brani a ripetizione a impartire lezioni si sono susseguiti senza soluzione di continuità. Vedere ancora tanto impeto negli occhi e nei corpi dei Mob 47 (since 1982) sa di vero e proprio miracolo. Devastanti!

Felice sorpresa i Nukies, gli svedesi, anch’essi dediti ad un crust punk d-beat senza fronzoli ma più ragionato, hanno dato prova di essere una band giovane ma con le idee chiare e dalla presenza scenica che ha creato molta empatia con il pubblico presente tanto che fino all’ultima nota non ha smesso di pogare e fare stage diving. La leggenda di palestra Lupo continua a resistere. 10/10.
