January 20th 2015. Tuesday night the House of Vans opened it’s doors for the 4th edition of the Bright European Skateboard Awards for everyone who is involved in making skateboarding just awesome!

A night to remember with usual suspects and new faces, many hugs n`kisses and reuniting good friends of the skateboard industry. All of them got together to honor nominees and winners of eleven categories that for the first time were open to a public voting in BESA history. Great thanks to all of you for voting and making this awards night a very special one! Congratulations to Skateboarding Society of Kenya for winning the Skate-aid award and 5000 euro funded by Skate-aid e.V., Niki Waltl chosen as the redbull.com/skateboarding Videographer of the year and honored with 3000 euro to produce an exclusive clip for Red Bull‘s skateboarding channel, Kingpin – Magazine of the year, Live Skateboarding Media – Website of the year, second time in a row Polar Skate Co. for Brand of the year, Belgium’s finest Skateshop Lockwood for Shop of the year, DVL as Photographer of the year, Phil Zwijsen in Time Chase winning the Clip of the year award, Endless Bummer by Palace for the Video of the year, Daan Van Der Linden winning the Rookie of the year award and sweet Madars Apse for Kingpin European Skateboarder of the year.
