DC Snowboarding announces second annual Hit & Run Series

(Huntington Beach, Calif.) DC Snowboarding presents its second annual “Hit & Run” global event series with stops at Mammoth Mountain, Meribel and Whistler Blackcomb.

This unique banked slopestyle competition and one-of-a-kind experience will utilise the most natural terrain from slalom-like tight banked and long arching turns to slopestyle jumps, hips and jibs. The overall goal for participating riders of DC’s “Hit & Run” is to get down the mountain as fast as they can while dropping their best tricks. Each freestyle feature will be judged from a 1-5 rating which then translates to seconds deducted from their time. The rider with the fastest overall score wins, snatching up a cash prizes and “Hit & Run” awards.
