7” available for pre-order now through Bridge Nine Records. Upcoming tour dates in Europe + North America.

Boston hardcore band Death Before Dishonor return today with their new EP, ‘Master Of None’, out through their long-time label home Bridge Nine Records. The band’s first new music in four years, the EP features two tracks – ‘Master Of None’ and a cover of Dead Boys’ 1977 classic ‘Sonic Reducer’. 7″ is 100% uncompromising hardcore, as fast metallic riffs mix with anthemic vocals. It signifies why Death Before Dishonor have been a permanent staple and influence of the genre for 24 years and counting. For ‘Sonic Reducer’, Death Before Dishonor give the punk track a heavier spin that is sure to invoke a fun shout along in the mosh pit. The tracks were produced, engineered and mixed by Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed), and recorded at Rock Valley Studio, Easthampton, MA and Planet-Z, Wilbraham, MA. Expanding on this EP, vocalist Bryan Harris states:

‘Master Of None’ is a showcase of what we consider all the best aspects of our sound. Songs to be sung in basements and festival fields all over the world. Lyrically, it is about breaking the shackles of mental manipulation. Most people can relate to the struggle of someone in their life wielding emotions or guilt against them. With this track, we’re taking aim at those who use these tactics to maintain control, and are providing an outlet for anyone ready to fight back.”

Having toured extensively throughout their career, Death Before Dishonor will head out on a European tour starting July 29th including multiple festival appearances. In early September and October, the band will join up with Madball playing select cities in the United States and Canada, full routing below.

Death Before Dishonor is Bryan Harris (vocals), Ben Kelly (guitar), Greg Chihoski (Bass) and Ben Hilton (drums).

Formed in 2000, Death Before Dishonor began its partnership with Bridge Nine Records with the release of ‘Friends Family Forever’ in 2005, followed by ‘Count Me In’ in 2007. The latter album marked a significant turning point for the band, helping them gain wider recognition in the hardcore punk scene. The band has since released several more albums on the label, including ‘Better Ways To Die’ in 2009 and ‘Unfinished Business’ in 2019. ‘Master Of None’ is the latest taste from the band that is characterized by their aggressive, fast-paced sound, and lyrics that often address issues of social and political importance. Rolling full steam ahead, fans can expect more new music on the way as Death Before Dishonor will hit the studio with Zeuss again this fall.
