DJ Shadow annuncia il nuovo doppio album ‘Our Pathetic Age’ in uscita il 15 novembre su Mass Appeal/Caroline International.

Hanno collaborato all’album De La Soul, Dave East, Inspectah Deck/Ghostface Killah/Raewon, Nas, Paul Banks, Run The Jewels, Samuel T. Herring, Wiki e molti altri. ‘Our Pathetic Age’ è il risultato di un periodo molto creativo per DJ Shadow, che ha avuto la possibilità di dedicarsi a composizioni originali e sperimentazioni. La prima parte di ‘Our Pathetic Age’ contiene 11 nuove tracce strumentali che bilanciano il sound più minaccioso di DJ Shadow, con atmosfere ricche di speranza, tra cui il suo primo pezzo composto interamente con un’orchestra. Oggi condivide un nuovo brano tratto dalla parte strumentale dell’album.

La seconda metà di ‘Our Pathetic Age’ è caratterizzata dalla presenza di ospiti alla voce, come Run The Jewels, Nas & Dave East, Samuel T. Herring, Paul Banks, Wiki, Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killah e Raekwon. Shadow si riunisce qui con i suoi vecchi collaboratori della Solesides, Lateef The Truthseeker e Gift Of Gab (Blackalicious). Sono inoltre presenti St. Louis MCs Rockwell Knuckles, Tef Poe, Fantastic Negrito, Jumbo Is Dr.ama, e Brooklyn MC Stro.
