Paris, France — SUPRA is pleased to announce the release of the limited edition La MJC Owen.

This is the second collaboration SUPRA has done with La MJC creative agency co-founder, Michael Dupouy. The La MJC Owen is the sequel to the All Gone Owen (released 2012) which was dedicated to Dupouy’s All Gone book series that documents the most sought after street culture items from the previous year—after they’re “all gone.” The 2011 All Gone edition featured a leopard print cover which is reflected in both collaborations. “I see the La MJC Owen as version two,” said Dupouy about this collaboration, “more refined and more summery, but still inspired by the 2011 All Gone cover. There is less leopard print on this new version, as a reflection of the diminished presence of leopard print in street wear this year, but it’s still there—leopard print is always a classic.” The La MJC Owen is a casual, lightweight, runner-inspired shoe with a white mesh webbing upper complemented by white microfiber medial and lateral panels, and leopard print microfiber heel and toe panels. Additionally the shoe has white nylon lace hoops, a white nylon heel pull, custom woven La MJC tongue label, padded white mesh lining, custom leopard print La MJC sock liner, and it’s built on a white SUPRAFOAM sole with gum rubber traction pods. “Choosing the Owen was easy,” Dupouy said, “it’s my favorite SUPRA shoe, it’s easy to wear, ultra light and comfortable—absolutely perfect for summer.” A very limited number of pairs of the La MJC Owen (including women’s sizes) will be released at the upcoming Solemart event in Paris on Sunday, June 23. Those who purchase the shoe will also receive a limited edition white coach’s jacket that features the La MJC crest on the breast, the SUPRA crown encircled by stars on the back, and a leopard print liner.
