Deftones live @ Live Club, Trezzo (Bg) – recap

Dopo sei anni dal passaggio su questo stesso palco, la band californiana torna nel Bel Paese per presentare il suo ultimo lavoro ‘Gore’ corredato dai brani più famosi che accompagnano la band da ormai decenni.
 
La serata inizia con i londinesi Three Trapped Tigers, che con il loro misto di post-rock, hard rock ed elettronica intrattiene la gente che inizia già ad affollare il Live Club. Meno di un’ora di set per poi lasciare spazio al cambio palco e alla salita di Chino Moreno e soci sul palco. Inizio di fuoco con ‘Rocket Skates’, ‘My Own Summer’ e ‘Be Quiet And Drive’, il tutto accompagnato da uno spettacolo di luci a volte soft a volte accecanti che completano la parte visuale del concerto. Il locale è veramente gremito, d’altronde lo show è sold out da ormai parecchie settimane, e dentro si fa fatica a muoversi, cosa che costringe il management ad aprire uno dei balconcini per permettere alla gente di evitare un pò di calca. Band nettamente a suo agio sul palco e davanti alla folla, che non si risparmia in quanto a singalongs e movimento / stage diving, chiusura con ‘Root’ ed ‘Engine n°9′ per un degno show che ha lasciato solo commenti positivi al riguardo.
