For the 5th time in a row we bring you Europe’s most famous Rock competition! Your chance to win a slot for your band in the official Groezrock 2014 line up of the Macbeth stage powered by Blackstar.

Bigger, better and more cosmic than ever! The Macbeth Blackstar Groezrock 2014 competition! This year we have an even more tremendous stage than ever! Groezrock is the biggest and most famous punkrock & hardcore festival in Europe. Over the past years we’ve given many bands the opportunity to present themselves to their core audience on our stage. Bands you probably all know by now such as Astpai, Antillectual, The Charm the Fury, Daylight, Like Torches, John Coffey, All For Nothing, the Midnight Souls, Attack! Attack! and many many more. Sign your band up by filling out the form on www.macbeth.eu/groezrock before January 19th and prove to us that your band deserves to be on the same bill as the most legendary punk rock bands such as The Offspring, NOFX, Alkaline Trio, H2O, Boy Sets Fire and The Hives! A panel of music industry professionals will review all submissions and create a selection of 30 possible bands for the Macbeth stage powered by Blackstar for Groezrock 2014. February 3rd these names will be announced. The 30 bands that do make it to this 2nd round enter into the online competition in which they will have to get as many people as possible to vote for them. Show us how devoted your fans are, test your PR skills, impress us with your creativity and prove your knowledge on how to use your network, because the more votes you get, the more chance you have of being invited to play our stage! February 18th, we will announce which 10 bands have gained the most votes and thus qualify for a spot on the Macbeth stage powered by Blackstar at the Groezrock Festival 2014!

Golden ticket: 2 bands will receive a golden ticket and make it straight to our stage.
As for the 2 main acts; We are super stoked to announce that our friends Bury Tomorrow will be headlining our program on Saturday May 2nd!

Notes:
Submissions need to be entered before Jan 19th.
The first selection of 30 bands will be announced Feb 3rd through www.macbeth.eu/groezrock
The voting period starts Feb. 10th and closes Feb 17th at midnight.
The bands that get offered a spot will be notified on Feb 18th
The winning bands will also be announced by Groezrock and will be added on all the promo material and official time schedule.
Groezrock day tickets are included for the artists only.
The Backline will be provided by Blackstar amplification, it is not possible for bands to use their own backline.
Stage size 12m x15m!!!
We will not cover any expenses.
The 10 bands invited to play have no say in day or time.
