‘DO YOU REALLY WANNA KNOW?’ COMING THIS SPRING.

Berlin, Germany – February 024 – The long-awaited Plizzken record ‘Do You Really Wanna Know’ is finally on its way, and we’re so excited to kick off the album cycle with the release of their brand new single ‘Nassau Nightlife’. It is the second LP from the German rock band, fronted by Stomper 98 singer Sebi, who created a tremendous buzz and fanbase with their debut record ‘…And Their Paradise Is Full Of Snakes’. “In the modern world it is hardly possible for young people to develop individually and to escape the anger and negativity of everyday life” says singer Sebi. For the history buffs out there, Nassau was an enclave in the time of monarchies in Germany. It offered a refuge for people of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. “The romanticization on our part is certainly a desire for less oppression from authority and a desire to escape the gears of the clockwork. There was and is simply no Plan B, but dreaming is always a start” Sebi adds.

“The album as a whole tells a story for me and different themes of my view of living together in this society. As very positive people who carefully observe what is currently happening around them in terms of socio-political issues, it is despairing how deeply hate, greed, envy, and similar luxuries determine the way many people look. There is not much that is happening at the moment that lifts the mood, but music and our lifestyle bring us a bit of color in dark times” Sebi remarks. Fans got their first sample of the new album when the band dropped ‘One More Time’ on a 7” with The Drowns in 2023. Since then, fans have been demanding more! ‘Do You Really Wanna Know?’ continues the journey that Sebi, Silvio, Tommi and company started during the pandemic with the release of their debut record. This new album demonstrates a more cohesive record with emotional storytelling and messages that the band hold close to their chest.
