Reef, the global surf lifestyle leader, has signed brazilian superstar Italo Ferreira to its surf ambassador team.

The former WSL Rookie of the Year continues to light it up on the tour with a strong start this year, making it to the Quarter finals at the Quiksilver Pro. Italo is globetrotter with a strong sense of adventure and fun, a true embodiment of Reef’s ‘Just Passing Through’ mentality. “We are thrilled to have Italo on the Reef team,” says Mike Matey, VP of Marketing for Reef. “Not only for his freakish surfing talent, but also for his direct connection to Reef’s Latin American roots.” Italo joins a world class Reef surf team, including Mick Fanning, Rob Machado, Mason Ho, Taylor Knox, Shane Dorian, Evan Geiselman, Mitch Crews, Mikala Jones, Kai Otton, Billy Kemper, Cyrus Sutton, and Mike Lay.
