Floridian-punks, The Attack have today released their new single ‘Bad Guy’, taken from their upcoming split release with UK punk band No Thrills.

The single comes ahead of the bands latest visit to the UK which will see the quartet take to the road with punk-rock-legends, The Queers through late July and August, including a performance at Rebellion Festival. Speaking on the single, vocalist Charlie Bender said “Bad Guy is mostly a satire. The idea came to me after hearing people not taking accountability for their own actions.” He continues, “Constantly blaming someone else. I had an encounter at work one day that sparked the “Bad Guy.” I knew I wanted the song to have satire to show how ridiculous some excuses are that people have. Owning up to their wrongdoing would be a start and consciously making an effort to not put other people in shitty situations would be great.”

Catch The Attack on tour later this month:

July 27 – The Arches, Coventry
July 28 – Punx Picnic, Derby
July 29 – The Fleece, Bristol
July 31 – The Salty Dog, Northwich
Aug 01 – The Underworld, London
Aug 04 – Rebellion Festival, Blackpool (3:30 PM Arena Stage)

The Attack brings punk back to the basics: short, fast-riffing songs about the social, music, and media-driven politics of today. The Attack / No Thrills split release will be available on vinyl and all usual digital retailers through Violated Records from August 3rd 2018.

The Attack are:

Brad Palkevich – Guitar
Charlie Bender – Vocals
Jason Dodaro – Drums
Mikey Cortes – Bass
