The song appears on their new album, ‘Rust On The Gates Of Heaven’, due out July 12 via Deathwish Inc.

Wear Your Wounds, the project created by Converge founder Jacob Bannon, will release their new album ‘Rust On The Gates Of Heaven’ next month via Deathwish Inc. In anticipation, Wear Your Wounds have premiered a music video for the album’s new single ‘Shrinking Violet’.

Directed and edited by Reid Haithcock, this stunning black and white video is the second to surface from ‘Rust On The Gates Of Heaven’ (the album’s eponymous first single was released in May). This album also marks the band’s first official lineup; initially conceived as a solo project, Wear Your Wounds has evolved into a five-piece that features Jacob Bannon (Converge), Mike McKenzie (The Red Chord, Stomach Earth, Unraveller, etc), Adam McGrath (Cave In, Nomad Stones, etc), Sean Martin (Twitching Tongues, ex-Hatebreed, ex-Kid Cudi), and Chris Maggio (ex-Trap Them, ex-Sleigh Bells, etc). ‘Rust On The Gates Of Heaven’ also includes guest collaborators Ben Chisholm (Chelsea Wolfe, White Horse) and Gared O’Donnell (Planes Mistaken For Stars, Hawks And Doves) throughout.

Having just wrapped a U.S. tour on select dates with Uniform and Author & Punisher, Wear Your Wounds will spend the end of July / beginning of August on tour with Torche in support of ‘Rust On The Gates Of Heaven’.
