SPIN deliver emo-tinged dream pop on new single + video ‘Right Around’
Years go by, seasons change, and the way we look at life shifts through it all.
For Eric Soucy, starting SPIN formed a sense of renewal as a way to navigate through the emotions and musical notes swirling in his head for so long. A lifelong musician, the New York-based Soucy approached SPIN wanting to create a sound fresh and nostalgic, hopeful and sullen. Self-releasing the ‘You’re Losing Me’ EP in May 2025, SPIN’s glimmering indie rock meets dream pop quickly gained a following, building steady streaming numbers and a kaleidoscopic live show with full backing band. Feeling the same sense of ambition his music set out to give others, he has been continuously writing and today share new single ‘Right Around’. A song centered around letting go of anything holding you back, the track’s dizzying melodies and bright vocals create an infectious blend set to capture audiences’ ears and be a comforting playlist staple. The video for the track, directed by Anthony Tripoli, evokes a ‘90s feel and pulls you into SPIN’s swirl. His next show will take place November 21st in Brooklyn, NY alongside Somerset Thrower surrounding a screening of Buddy Nichols’ ‘Intense Energy – The Sounds Of Skateboarding’ film at Vans Skate Space 198, RSVP HERE. On December 12th the band will perform at Main Drag Music supporting Bad Luck, Innerlove, Samsara.
