Rowan Zorilla, Kader Sylla and Dustin Dollin unveil exclusive footwear for Vans x Baker Holiday Collection.

Both brands highlight their roots in skateboarding through a holiday capsule featuring exclusive footwear from Vans’ very own Baker Boys.


Costa Mesa, CA (November 2019) – Back for a second season, Vans and Baker have teamed up on a collection of exclusive footwear colorways for team riders Rowan Zorilla, Kader Sylla and Dustin Dollin, and a range of co-branded apparel featuring a new speed check design.


Founded at the intersection of 704 E. Broadway and Warner Avenue, the collection celebrates both brands’ heritage in skateboarding, as seen through three pro skate shoes featuring custom Baker graphics and unique colorways for Vans’ very own Baker Boys. Featured in the capsule are the Slip-On Pro in Rowan speed check, the Era Pro in Kader purple check, and the Old Skool Pro in Dollin polka dots.


The collection features team-tested technology that Vans Pro Skate is recognized for, including Duracap reinforced rubber underlays in high-wear areas to provide lasting durability and better board-feel, Ultracush HD sockliners to keep feet close to the board without packing out over time, and providing Vans’ highest level of impact cushioning.

Supporting the footwear is a head-to-toe apparel and accessories collection, featuring all-over print and speed check Vans x Baker branding. Included in the line-up is Vans x Baker Speed Check LS shirt in white, Speed Check Camper 5-panel hat in black, an allover print hoodie, a SS button-down, and a co-branded sock and T-shirt.
